Nomination
Any Forge user can nominate a cause. It costs 50 marks — refunded if the cause is approved, forfeited if it doesn't meet vetting criteria.
Vetting
Forge reviews every nomination for 501(c)(3) status and a current four-star Charity Navigator rating. No exceptions. No pay-to-play.
Community vote
Approved causes enter the allocation phase. Users vote with their marks. The top five by mark weight receive that quarter's funding.
